Senior & Outreach Ministry

Every generation together, making an impact.

We want to give ministry opportunities to anyone who is willing; and, through our combined efforts, provide for those in need! We can do this through visitations, meal trains, Operation Christmas Child, and more!

If you would like to be involved in a specific ministry, reach out to the leads for each program:

CLF Homebound Visitation:

There are members of our congregation who would love to be at service, to participate, to feel like part of the family--but they are unable to leave their homes. We want to make sure they feel included, cared for, & ministered to personally, right where they're at!

If you would like to help homebound seniors feel more connected to the community of CLF by doing in-home visitation, we would love to have you! Reach out to one of our two ministry leads for more information:

June & Clint Scheberl: (920) 296-8145; jscheberl2643@charter.net

Nursing Home Visitation:

We want to be able to bless those senior members of our community who live in nursing homes! If you are interested in visiting nursing homes & bringing the love & joy of Jesus with you, contact Mary Buggs below:

Mary Buggs: (920) 960-4823; mbuggs64@yahoo.com

Operation Christmas Child:

Blessing children all around the world with the joy of gifts at Christmastime, along with the gospel of Jesus! All throughout the year, projects are being done to help fill shoeboxes with creative, handmade items that kids across the globe will treasure for years!

If you would like to be involved and want to know when the next OCC event is, contact Bob & Gaile Hanson below!

Meal Trains:

Providing meals for those who may have just given birth, gone through a surgery, or are experiencing any kind of temporary hardship & might just need one less task on their plate.

Click here to fill out a form to let us know that you're either interested in helping, or in need of a meal train. Otherwise if you have questions, contact Andrea below.

Card Ministry:

Who doesn't love receiving a handmade card letting them know that someone is thinking of them? We would love to bless the seniors in our congregation who are stuck at home, as well as those children who will be receiving Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes, with thoughtful handmade cards! It's such a simple but impactful way of letting someone know that we see them & care about them.

If you would like to help out with our cards ministry, contact Ann Michels below:

City On A Hill:

Every month, City on a Hill in Milwaukee presents serving opportunities to anyone who is interested in helping. We love being able to volunteer as a group in their Health Outreach, which happens on the second Saturday of every month and provides free health services to the community.

If you are interested in serving with us at City on a Hill on a monthly basis, or even just as a one-time ministry opportunity, contact Cindy Grady below:
